EMS Fusion acknowledges Dr Alan Turner’s contribution, in his Royal Australian Air Force Reservist capacity, to the design and delivery of a bespoke clinical training program in support of an operational health unit.
This activity was conducted in response to a unit-level requirement to enhance clinical warfighting capability, with a focus on trauma management, blood product utilisation, platform-agnostic aeromedical evacuation and expectant casualty care. The program integrated both theoretical and practical elements and was delivered to approximately 60 personnel, drawing on subject matter expertise from within the unit.
This work reflects the type of capability development activity that informs EMS Fusion’s approach to clinical training system design, particularly in supporting team-based performance and decision-making in high-acuity operational environments.
